arrrrr x matey Posted February 17, 2008 Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 omg so in church this morning, the decan had to read a letter from all the bishops in NJ. it was talking about marriage. it was going off on about how marriage is when 2 people fuse together into one bla bla bla. then it was going off on how it shouldn't be disposed of to quickly like it is today bla bla bla. then it was going off about how people are even trying to redefine the real meaning of marriage, which is "a union between a man and a woman" and how wrong that is and all that crap. and my parents were sitting there agreeing with it all!! So i stopped goin to that church... honestly, i hate my church.. i mean, its nice to have a connection with God, but i can have that without people telling me that im practiacally useless. eefie Posted February 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 oh since you guys are on the subject ok so im a "catholic" in inverted commas cause i dont believe it all and dont follow any rules i kinda believe what i want but the catholic church frowns upon gay marriages which SUCKS and my best friend (who is gay) when on theis holy pilgrimage thing he is like really religious (which i thinks cool) but when he was there he told his leaders (like thr most holiest people of all time) that he was gay and all this and they totally saw it as a bad thing... and started telling him "its okay to sin - god sees over it aslong as you dedeem yourself" and that "its okay - theres places you can go to get help" i was... SUPER RAGED! when he told me it really got to him too cause he was so religious but thankfully he kinda got over it hes just not as holly anymore... still as gay tho LMAO!
