They got sick of the crap NBC gave them, so they left and signed on for an 8th season that started filming in March, but was announced in May. Zach Braff (J.D.) will be leaving after the 8th season......sooo....if there is a 9th, it won't be nearly the same, or (personally) nearly as good.
