You get to the show early (they tell you the time), go in and the M&G is usually very casual - just 10-15 minutes of chatting with the band, getting autographs, taking pictures. In fact, there's no guarantee there are even going to be meet & greets on the Jimmy Eat World tour, so don't get your hopes up too fast. And even if there are, it's not everyone who buys a ticket through the presale - just some people who are randomly chosen for each show. It's the third time lucky for me, too: 1st time - PCD, Rihanna + Jibbs @ Wembley Arena, London. Couldn't go 2nd time - Young Wild Things Tour - FOB, Cute is what We Aim For, Gym Class Heroes and Plain White T's @ San Jose Events center. Couldn't go. 3rd time - Paramore + Jimmy. NOW I'm going.
