Seriously seriously seriously seriously, i love irish accents. My friend's parents are irish and like, if i ring their house and it goes to their answerphone i have to listen to ALL of it. (I'm really that sad).

They're amazing, haha, i'm so going to Ireland one day.

 

my friends parents too. and they have super irish names and everything i love it.

 

her names Aine but its pronounced Onya. i <3 irish accents!

Nah they're the way forward ! I knew a guy called Colm and that's like coll-um, his sister was Saoirse which was like seer-sha or something haha. My neighbour's called Aislinn which is like, Aysh-ling, which is just awesome.

 

Looooove good names.

oh i know all those

1. Colm is normal

2. Saoirse is irish for 'freedom'

3. My friends called Aislinn, but its pronounced with out the G

 

aisling is the name with the g

the long island accent (which more specifically is mine) is pretty bad.

 

rememba when we went in the caa down da blawck and heard those sowngs and had wawwwta and so' cawwfee? (said really fast)

 

remember when we went in the car down the block and heard those songs and had water and some coffee?

 

and its not long island, its lawn-GUY-land

^ I USED TO TALK LIKE THAT XD i loved it i wish i hadn't moved so far away lol

 

mine was a mixture of long island and italian. my mom's side of the family pronounces cappuccino (sp?) as "gab-ba-jine" (jine=jean) :D

i dont mind a southern accent so much, the hick ass southern accent from those people that live on a farm growing peaches in georgia are the ones i cant stand.

 

like the virginia/w. virginia/carolina accents i can handle.

if einstein came from the peach growing south,

no one would have taken him seriously, even though he was so freaking smart,

b/c you just sound so dumb. am i right, or is that just me?

i think that's what a lot of people would have thought. i always thought those accents made people sound dumb, but i realize that the only reason why is that that accent is associated with the "peach growing." if people didn't think that everyone who had that accent was a "hick" then it would just be thought of as another regional accent.
