arrrrr x matey Posted August 8, 2008 Report Share Posted August 8, 2008 i think that's what a lot of people would have thought. i always thought those accents made people sound dumb, but i realize that the only reason why is that that accent is associated with the "peach growing." if people didn't think that everyone who had that accent was a "hick" then it would just be thought of as another regional accent. yeah thats a good point. but even if it was just another regional accent, it'd still bother the crap out of me. hahaah.
