So i know this is a long shot....but i think people around here would really like some of the bands that are big in the alternative scene here.... Im sure if Diego was still here he would comment here...i just hope ppl give them a listen.. I'll post some mypace links let me know what you think of them check out porter....they have some wierd stuff...be sure ot hear "host of a ghost" and xoloitzcuincle chicloso" those are my favs. http://myspace.com/porterband fun experimental electronica group...NOT powerpop...just really cool tunes, they are called playmovil project... check out "A Coro" and "Wank" is good, a little dirty but i like it http://myspace.com/playmovilproject And there is this band too, its called No Somos Machos pero Somos Muchos, wich means WE aren't Machos but we are many. I have no idea where they would be categorized....they are dj's mostly, and they have some cool remixes....but also great tunes....be sure to check out "Clap your Brains Off" http://www.myspace.com/nosomosmachos And these guys are so weird, like popular mexican songs, but with a twist. they are called Intituto Mexicano del Sonido... http://www.myspace.com/institutomexicanodelsonido And there is, of course, El Sonidero Nacional, that its kinda in the same genre as the above ones, but with hip hop...but be sure to check out the "eres para mi" remix http://www.myspace.com/sonideronacional And then, in the more conventional music, there this really good band called Niña, which has to be one of my favorite mexican bands EVER. I think this entry was incredibly hard and honest I think thats what it makes it so important. Its not about the faith that she displayed here, its about being honest and staying true to your convictions and beliefs. Sometimes, I get annoyed at posts where people talk about their christianity, and just assume they have to be awsome people because of it. The truth is, there are many people who are religious, and go to mass on Sundays, and apparently do all those right things....and still aren't good people. Paramore ARE good people, they care about theirs fans, and strive to be better every day, and it shows on their actions. I am sure believing in Christ gives them strenght, and absolutely plays a huge part on them being the individuals they are now, but....geez its hard to explain....i dont think thats the only reason to it. I guess what i am trying to say is... this post isnt so much about christianity, and it certainly doesnt offend people who arent. I dont belive in anything right now. But i always respect other peoples views as long as they dont shove it down your throat, and this post just shows enourmus courage and conviccion, and thats what i see when i read it. This might seem off topic, but i felt like i had something to say
