  1. Yeah. the lyrics are really sad and I think a slower pace is more fitting with that.
  2. Everyone has some really lovely stuff ! I really wish I'd started off using film as opposed to digital. Here's a montage I did: There's more on my flickr http://flickr.com/photos/degaussed/ if anyone wants to take a look
  3. Funeral for a friend did a cover as well but I still reckon Paramore's is better one of the three. I'm also pretty sure it's whoever owns the copyright that they have to get permission from as well.
  4. I've got the vinyl. It's slower than the original, acoustic and absolutley stunning.I've got a friend that's offered to rip it for me but I have to post it to him.I need to find an envelope to fit it in so I'm going to send it tomorrow but it's going to take a couple of days.
  5. Wow this is fantastic!I'm glad to see people don't let the media make up their minds for them.
  6. I pre-ordered mine and it came with the cardboard slip on thing but I sold it on to a friend because after I ordered it Brent was kind enough to send me two of US copies with bonus tracks and I can't afford to buy it three times!Buying it twice is more than I'd do for most bands! All of them had the same lyrics in them by the way.
  7. Did you look in the bit down the end in HMV where the singles used to be?I haven't been into town today but there's like a single rack with about four shelves. You have to really hunt around on it though and look behind stuff especially down the bottom.I'm hoping to pick mine up tomorrow if they have it!I'll get them to order it for me otherwise.
  8. I have two jobs. I work in a pharmacy on Saturdays. It's so ridicuously boring. It's easy though.I get paid £35 for doing nothing from 9-4 and I get an hour for lunch too. Then in the evenings I work in a restaurant/theatre waitressing. I love it there. It's fun 'cause it's a bunch of about 30 teenagers running a restaurant or just generally pissing about and eating all the food. Because it's a theatre they eat then go and watch the first half of the show giving us about 45 minutes to kill then there's an interval and we just give them drinks. Nice and easy
  9. I had a really crappy day at work and I got home about an hour ago to find a package waiting for me on the door mat and let's just say I'm in the best mood now The extra tracks are brilliant. Thank you so much for doing this, it's really appreciated. I get paid not this Thursday but the Thursday after that so I'll paypal you some money then!
  10. I think you can get it in the US as well, it's just not widely avalible. Well, it has the price in dollars anyway. It's $7.99. I reckon your best bet's tower records 'cause I'm pretty sure I know someone that's got it from there in the past though I know not all the stores have it.
  11. This thread really makes me want to go and dye my hair again. My colour's faded and I'm getting roots =/ I have no money right now though!
  12. I saw one like that in the window in Zara as well yesterday. I wanted to try it on to just see if it'd suit me but they'd sold out apart from that one
  13. I've still not watched a single episode of this years. I'm well proud at how I've managed to resist so far!
  14. I was right at the front to the left! But yeah, back on topic... this show was awesome.Shame about the obsessive kids though
  15. It was awesome right? We've probably bumped into each other a bunch of times and not known lol.
  16. haha! They have like an entire wall of the shop covered with magazines so just ask the guy. i can't always find it 'cause they have so any crammed on there and today I ended up nearly knocking everything off the shelf and he had to come and rescue me lol.
  17. Yeah, how about you? This was last week in London though. After the Fez me & my friend were the only ones who hung around it was so refreshing to actually have a proper conversation with them. I asked Beau if he could help me out by getting me a photography pass for the London show and although he did it must've probably been annoying though we got invited to go and see Pirate of the caribbean! They took too long showering and stuff so we missed the last one =/
  18. There's a newsagents on Duke Street which has it If you're coming from the high street you turn right at Jackson's corner and it's down that road by Subway. Also, if anyone in the UK wants it and can't find it I can probably get it from there for you. You'd have to pay for the magazine & postage though.
  19. That sucks Ermmm I can't remember about the girl at the underworld...she had like three pairs of tights on though & a black shirt with parawhore printed in it in white and a scarf tied around her like a belt. I just don't understand how people can be like that though. At Saosin I met this girl when me & my friend were waiting outside and she was the same age but she acted like a total teenie and later just outright asked Beau if we could come on the bus. That's essentially inviting yourself into a total strangers home. How can you not feel rude about that?
  20. The girl with the bug hanging around after the underworld that kept shouting her declarations of love to Ajax everytime he walked past...URGH.i'm sorry if you read this, but loud people like that just get to me.
  21. Word. I'm 16 and I'm starting to feel old at shows. Anyway, didn't half those kids hanging out afterwards have school the next day or something?it was like "GO AWAY DAMMIT!"
  22. yeah, I think I speak for everyone in saying that we all really, really, really, really appreciate this as well & also the fact that you've set up a brilliant site.Running a forum as busy as this takes alot of time and you deserve more credit!
  23. I'm very much British but my Dad lives near Manila and I've got a Filipino step mum & step sisters!I'm going out there to see them all in July/August and to Singapore for a little while and I'm really looking forward to it
  24. I'm 6ft tall. This is when I met Paramore...(please excuse the gig hair!) I'm taller than all of them lol.5'1 sounds about right for Hayley.
  25. Erm, I know it wasn't Ronnie but I can't remember the guy's name. I felt really bad for them when they were trying to eat.Did any one actually go in the restaurant and bother them or where they all just outside? I took the oppotunity to take my place at the front of the queue lol. It made me cringe so bad at the underworld though. When they stuck their head out the curtain they got screeched at. Admittedly I used to be hung up on trying to meet bands and stuff though not in the sense that I'd stand outside a restaurant pressing my face against the glass for like an hour.At the end of the day they're just ordinary people.
