  1. A pig in the blanket, baby!!! I like my breakfast comfortable and warm.
  2. The top three most played songs of Radiohead on my iPod are: 1. Reckoner -- I seriously play that at least ten times a day. 2. Climbing Up the Walls -- What freaking crazy song... It gives me chills! 3. True Love Waits -- There's just something about that song that makes me chill. EDIT: What's your favorite Radiohead album?
  3. I heart Christian Bale... And I heart Kevin Zegers...
  4. Radiohead is the sh*t! Gosh, they're probably one of most respected and respectable bands out there. They're proof that music can be brilliant if people just think outside the box and wanted to make something different that's beautiful. Also, I think Johnny Greenwood did one heck of a job for scoring There Will Be Blood.
  5. Haha, sorry to confuse you! I lurk on that board and laugh at all the puns that are thrown around.
  6. You're listening to clocks tick? You're nuts! Just kidding! I'm listening to Jenny Was a Friend of Mine by the Killers.
  7. I got it off of AP.net. I saw it, laughed, and took it because every time I saw that picture, I always wanted to say, "Why so serious?" Haha, I love it. You better be jealous, Kailey. Just kidding! I had to pay for it by myself... My parents said that if they were going to pay for my tuition, I'd have to pay for my badass laptop.
  8. Almost every band out there has been influenced in some shape or form by the Beatles. Also, can you name any other bands during the 60s that evolved rock from rockabilly like the Beatles did? Really, I'm not talking about a specific part, like the guitar, but overall sound in general? No. You can hear the Beatles' melodies and harmonies everywhere. Plus, their catalog of songs is insane! I can listen to the Beatles everyday and not grow tired of them.
  9. One of my favorite songs of all-time has to be "Between the Bars" by this great man. However, I have to admit that I think Metric's cover pwns Elliott's original.
  10. My brand spankin' new MacBook Pro.
  11. I'd ignore her and pretend like I was crazy. I'd be like, "No voices, please don't say that!" I think making an already awkward situation even more awkward would be hil-ar-ious!
  12. My favorite lyric is one that Zac thought up, "Whoa!"
  13. I felt really horrible about not voting for Jason Segel for biggest break-out male... I voted for Michael Cera instead, which did have a bigger year and is more well-known. I think the Jonas Brothers are going to own. Their fans are fanatical and fantastical.
  14. Any idea where I can get Lubbock, TX tix at? No ticketmaster.com action from there yet... and I went to the Lonestar Amphitheater page, they say they're not available online yet. I just want to make sure they're not because I want to surprise my friend and her sister who've never seen Paramore live yet with some okay seats. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated! I haven't posted on here in forever... So holla, chiefs!
  15. I agree that RIOT! has a poppier sound... and it took me awhile to adjust to it compared to AWKIF. To me, AWKIF's sound is paramore's sound... RIOT! seemed to be produced to make a radio-friendly album. While I think that's smart, at the same time... I don't love the album like I love AWKIF, that's just me though. I understand that part of being a musician is to grow and expand your sound, and to gain a larger fanbase or else you'll plateau early. However, I felt like it didn't supply enough rough edges, y'know? It seemed overproduced because of that. I'm glad to hear that they're going to make their next LP heavier. And I'm glad they're already talking about it because that means they're writing new material already. *ding* That's something I love to hear.
  16. I didn't join simply because I don't like giving non-band run fan clubs my money. 1.) The people running the fan club get your money first, so they don't have to work very hard once they have your money, 2.) They have no incentive whatsoever because of number one, 3.) They update every once and awhile because of 1 and 2. If Paramore ran the fan club... I'd join without a doubt. But they don't, so I didn't join.
  17. Obviously, I disagree. A genre can die. Who plays hair metal nowadays besides the old hair metal bands going back on reunion tours or someone covering their material? No one, because no one is creating new stuff. And as for Jimmy Eat World not being emo... really? Cause I thought their entire archive proves that they were. Also, the band's sound hasn't changed too much since Bleed American-- Futures and Stay on My Side Tonight are both angsty, heavy LPs and EPs. If you made the agruement that they were not just emo, I could agree with you, but just saying JEW is not emo and then not backing it up with any proof doesn't really say they aren't just because you said so. Also, to me, Death Cab's Plans is on the emo side... Their sound to me isn't all that indie. Pop and light rock, yes. Emo... lyrically, yes. And Ben Gibbard's tone and witty vocals definitely make me feel like they could possibly be emo because they're whimsy. They're like a lighter version of SDRE mixed with Minipop's melodies. So to me, that's emo. They're not whole out emo, I guess I should've said that in my earlier post, but I didn't since I thought I was defending emo as a credible genre listing DCFC and JEW. But I guess I obviously pissed some people off by doing that.
