I've always been of the mind that if it sounds good, I'll listen to it. This is why I am a huge Paramore fan and also a pretty decent amount fan of U2. I remember seeing U2 on their Elevation tour at Madison Square Garden a number of years ago and having a really good time. But I will say that those U2 fans who said all those negative things about Paramore are complete fucking douchebags. People need to learn, if you don't like it, just don't listen and leave it at that. No one wants to listen to someone talk shit about something they like. It's music, not a fucking game. You go to a game, you talk shit to the other teams fans, that's normal... because sports is a fucking competition, music isn't. That is all.

haha I like to get my fun stuff out of the way in the beginning of summer, then I have the rest of it to look forward to. Like when I saw Paramore last year it was the beginning of August and I was like should I look forward to it or not? Because by the time it came, summer was more than half over. Little known fact: teachers enjoy summer vacation as much or more than the students.

This is such a tough question, for me it's like asking what's my favorite Taylor Swift album (I'm sure Jedd knows what I mean here). I grew up listening to a lot of different bands in the 90's who I thought were pretty good, but there was never one band that I could listen to exclusively all day long. I rotated all the time, to the point my fingers got tired from switching CD's in and out of my 5 disc player. It's just amazing to me all the time that after the way I approached music as a teenager that now, as an old fuck, I would find new music that I love more than what I listened to as a kid. I've spent days on end listening to each Paramore album without regard for the existence of any other music, same for Taylor Swift, same for VersaEmerge. At the end of the day, though, I guess I'd pick Riot because my favorite Paramore song is CrushCrushCrush, sooooo yeah. I pick Riot.

I confess it cracks me up when a kid tries to lecture me on how to be a good teacher. I saw your report card, little one, and it's not me who needs to improve, it's you who needs to get your head surgically removed from your ass so you can get something higher than a 40 in at least one of your classes.
