Sophie_*!
Kay so I did a search and I could only find a Slipknot, Lacuna Coil and Metallica thread, so I think I'll give them their own thread. I've only been a fan since Subliminal verses, when I first heard Before I Forget in about 06. I can't decide on my favourite album, it changes every so often. Haven't seen them live Anyone else a fan?
Ross
I remember the days in primary school when people would come in saying they loved Slipknot. It's scary to think that was like ten years ago. They never done mcuh for me then and still don't do much now.
Sophie_*!
Awwwww. You're not fun. Yeah when I was in primary school I was a bit scared of Slipknot and said I'd never listen to music is screamy and scary as that
SalsaC
I've respected them as musicians for as long as I've been playing guitar. The only album I own from them is their latest (I really like that one), but my actual Slipknot-phase with guitar was years ago so I know the odd song here and there. This actually reminded me of delving into the other albums, which I've been meaning to do for ages now.

Harry
I'm not really a fan of their music, but major props to both Mick Thomson and Jim Root for awesome down picking skills, as well as good chops in general. They also have drool worthy guitar rigs *drools thinking about their guitar rigs*
