Hey you guyyyys,
We're stoked everyone has been loving the videos from our
short run on the Warped tour this summer. We noticed a lot of you asking about
the intro music and where it was from and we are happy to tell you it's a new
song entitled "Renegade"!
Back in March, we recorded a handful of songs (including "Monster") with Rob
Cavallo which we promised we'd get to you this year. "Renegade" is the first
song of the three that are left to be released.

Keep your eyes on Paramore.net an we'll keep you updated on the
songs!

Same here. Usually I can't stand those fan videos taken from the crowd because they sound like crap, I'm very happy that someone got video of the song that actually had good audio.

So how about the studio version? Those that have heard it.
I this it's awesome. I might like the live version better but I still love the studio one.


I love both versions, it's hard to say which one I like better. My only criticism of the recorded version (and it's just a small one) is I think it would have sounded even better without the backing vocals at many points. I think they overdid them a bit.

Ok, they finally got the international downloads sorted out and I was able to download the song directly from the web store. It's a bit better quality and the backing vocals don't sound like they did on the version I downloaded from Youtube. Much better. :smile:

I don't really like it, the live was ok but the studio version sounds like a demo and the chorus is really flat, the guitars part on the verses are ok but something is missing with the chorus and the melody is too ...

And Hayley's voice sounds the most passionless I ever heard, like she's just reading the words, she might aas well be singing about her grocery list...

I'm in absolute love with this song. It's so so catchy. I'm gonna be playing this so many times over the next few weeks. I cant wait for the next UK tour and to hear it live
