golly
yea, they are great. but, they arnt that great without anthony green. cove isnt that great..
thorned_lilac_182
is it true that Anthony is also a vocalist of CIRCA SURVIVE? His voice is GIRLIE that's why my friends thought that the vocalist of CS is a girl.
golly
yes. he's circa's singer. saw them live like 3 weeks ago. but um. maybe if you listen to 5 seconds of a song he sounds like a girl.. if you listen to more of ther music, you can tell it isnt a girl, its just high pitched. but he knows how to sing and has a great range. but there is no "also". he isnt in saosin. he left. matchingsocks
ohh they are great! yeah i agree with someone above me. Anthony green voice is awsome.
myheartis_yours
i'm bringing this to the first page because... 1. Saosin is amazing. 2. Anthony Green is god.
BassistDerek
cove and anthony are both tenors (for you musical people who know the significance of that) i like how they have a high range, but like.....i dunno, they can't sing that low, and it makes any variety limited. now hayley for instance......she can sing pretty low for a girl, and still have tonal quality, and still has a powerful and deep upper range. that's a good range. cove barely has two octaves, so the type of sound he creates gets to repetitive after a while. just my 2 cents from an experienced musician/vocalist. Punk In Drublic
BassistDerek, I like your knowledge man. You know what you're talking about... I've only heard two songs by Saosin...7 Years, which I absolutely love (Can someone tell me if that's the old singer or new one?) and Bury Your Head, which I really don't like (Again, is that the old singer or new singer?). BassistDerek
They're both the new singer. For 7 years, there's an acoustic and normal version, and i know for sure the acoustic is with the new singer, and i'm pretty sure the original one is too. bury your head is kind of a boring song. seven years is way better. i'm speaking musically lol, but both are far above average. sophie
i've got one of their songs on an atticus album, i quite like it.
myheartis_yours
the original seven years is definitely Anthony (old) the acoustic is questionable, but i'm thinking anthony. i could be wrong. anyway, i can't wait till the new album. golly
any recorded version of seven years is anthony green.
BassistDerek
minus the acoustic video where its cove singing. but i'll assume the studio recorded acoustic one is ag.
golly
recorded as in at a studio. and yes, the acoustic one anthony green. (to me) it is obvious.
BassistDerek
i don't listen to them often enough to really distinct either, their voices are pretty similar sounding, and stylistically identical.
golly
i know what you mean. i was in that boat too once. if you do ever listen to them more, you will find out that compared to anthony green, cove sucks. a lot. very different if you listen for a long time. good stuff... not cove. anthony. Punk In Drublic
Thanks for the responses guys. Bury Your Head really bores me a lot compared to 7 Years. Not sure why, maybe it's because 7 Years is musically better *shrugs*

whatsername104
i don't get why tons of people hate Cove. i like his voice. i don't like anthony green's. his voice scares me.
golly
Well, Cove's voice is altered in the studio. It's pretty apparent when you listen to their songs. Anthony Green's voice isn't. He also has an incredible vocal range. This is also something Cove lacks.
whatsername104
hmm, it sounded the same to me at warped tour.
lordjedediah
i really dont understand why so many people think so highly of anthony green. he isnt the only person in the world who can sing i personly dont even like his voice, if i want some high pitched singing ill stick to coheed and cambria

HarlequinGerhl
I think there good I got there EP recently and its not bad at all And I think he has a good voice Kinda like a cross between the dude in Thursday and the dude in Bayside lol
