Ross
Our shows don't start 'till 7 or 8. And the bands aren't usually on until after about 30 minutes from then.
-parawhore-
oh well ours start at 6/7 and doors are 5/

Ross
Wow, our are like 10 or 11. Your shows sound much better.
-parawhore-
haha idk. ill have to go over there to youre shows then compare hahaha
Ross
Your's sound more value for money. I paid £8 ($16) to see theAudition headline and they only played like 40 minutes. Lame.
-parawhore-
i usually pay like $13/$15 for tickets.
Ross
Our shows are rarely that cheap. $60-80 for your Oasis, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers $20-40 for Panic at the Disco, Paramore etc bands like that Under $20 for smaller bands. It's a bump!
White Night
sooo i'm seeing them tonight i'm so pumpedd!
Wildman
I know this thread is a bit old, but I just wanted to say that this band has made it as my favorite band, I started listening to the two months ago, and I love everything about them! This is truly a fantastic band! My cousin went to school with William also, she used to have a crush on him (as she says...)
Ross
Almost Here >= Fast Times > Santi That's my final take on it after a good spell of listening and seeing new shit live.
basketcase
^^^ totally agree. i remember seeing them right before slow down came out, and they were brilliant (ross midtown toured with them right at the end, but i was really late 'cause of traffic and didn't get to see them )
Wildman
I think the new album is quite good, but nothing beats The Academy EP, I like that the most, the Santi. I like all of them, I already want another album!
Ross
^^^ totally agree. i remember seeing them right before slow down came out, and they were brilliant (ross midtown toured with them right at the end, but i was really late 'cause of traffic and didn't get to see them ) You mean you could have saw Midtown TWICE!? basketcase
yeah, but i didn't, which is something i'm a bit distraught about
Ross
I can't even think of anything like that happening to me. The closest is Jeremy Engic of Sunny Day Real Estate having to pull out of the BN tour. Was really looking forward to seeing him as well since I have a soft spot for SDRE haha
basketcase
oh yeah i love SDRE-- i would've loved to see them. foo fighters have nate mendel, so i've seen at least one of them live, but with a different band haha (to keep this thread slightly on topic, i will add that my friend saw TAI on sunday and she said that they were really just ok... not as good as before by any margin)
Ross
I think he (Bill) tries to be a bit too much like Adam Lazzara. Totally got that vibe off him last time out. And I've saw one of them as well, seeing as I have also saw the Foo's:wink:
basketcase
yeah i agree with that about Adam Lazzara-- he needs to just sing- thats what i go to see, not stage antics (mostly haha) ah the foos are amazing!!!!
Ross
Because mics are for singing, not swinging. Yes, I do have that on a hoodie! They are indeed! Sucks they're on hiatus though.
basketcase
haha that must be a fantastic hoodie-- i'm a bit jealous although roger daltrey swings the mic (or pretty much came up with it in the first place), and i've got nothing bad to say about him ah yeah--- i just saw them in september because or date got pushed back--- best two nights ever. seriously. it does suck that they're on hiatus, but they've been working nonstop for the last couple years, so they deserve a break. and the fact that dave's gonna have another kid might keep him at home for a while, even though they just announced it
Ross
I saw them last year, was fairly rad. Much better than the Red Hot Chili Peppers gig which was a day or two after the Foo's.
