One other indie band I'd recommend (not sure if you guys have heard of them... you probably have) is Kaiser Chiefs. Their new album is awesome. stephler Posted March 6, 2007 Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 margot and the nuclear so and so's is some bomb ass shit. the photo atlas will make you dance yourself into a frenzy. pick up their album tomorrow. its dope. the oohlas are so 90s rock and i LOVE them. ollie is so freaking nice. cain and able are so folksy they make me want to knit a sweater or something haha fields are so earthy they'll make you want to go plant a tree albert hammond jr.because duh who hates the strokes? and albert is much happier and really cute. strangler sounds like a death from above 1979 and fugazi lovechild mixed with a non annoying perry farrell. i mean they aren't on an independent label but nobody knows about them and they used pots instead of drums in one of their songs. i'm sorry but thats probaby one of the most badass things ever.
