thebrowncoat Posted March 27, 2007 Report Share Posted March 27, 2007 oh no. i didn't say there was anything particularly wrong with using a stylist at all. i just felt the need to comment that i thought they had used one.. and i had a feeling that people would flip the way they did the last time with the december photoshoot pictures. that's why i said "don't bite my head off".i'm not saying they don't look amazing. they do. they just look different. personally, i preferred them back in the day because i could relate to them more, even by something as small as image or dress sense or whatever you want to call it. and not that this really has anything to do with anything.. but i do understand that image is part of the music industry. i'm not really for that at all though. and ofcourse they are the same people. i'm not worried about that. one bit Sorry - I totally didn't mean for that to come across as biting your head off, so sorry if it did My bad... idk...I guess what they look like in photoshoot pictures doesn't matter much to me...I want them to look really good because that's their public image - and the better it looks, the more distinctive they look, the more I think it's going to help them in the long run...and yeah, you can definitely argue that image shouldn't be that important, that it should be all about the music and I'd agree with you in principle, but that just isn't the way it is unfortunately...so I'm glad to see them doing things to be successful, if that makes sense.... And based on what they've written in the LJ and said in interviews and stuff, I really, really, really don't think we need to worry about it being all about the image with the new album. The music is going to be there...and it's going to be AMAZING. So yeah...I guess you can say I like the glamour and style I'm seeing in these new pics.
