wow cool hallway..

i used to take art, but now i cant, cos there's no possibility of me pursuing my love for art unless i go overseas, which means i gotta pay for it myself. maybe after i get my bachelor's degree i'll apply for an arts scholarship. realising my dreams =D

anyways, iv got some cute drawings of the whole band, which was originally for The Paramore's Show. i have yet to scan it though. i;; try to get pics up as soon as possible yea?

nice artwork everyone! Some day I want to draw a picture of any of the band members. I just need to find the perfect high quality photo to draw from. I really like the last portrait I drew but I won't post it since it's not paramore related. I haven't drawn for a while but I would like to draw something soon!

This is the first part of a 4 part project I've undertaken for a design class. The

piece is painted with acrylic paint on hot press illustration board, and each panel

is 10"x20". This first phase is to be painted in a monochrome color scheme. Let

me know what you think of it so far :) Part 2 consists of adding in a split

complementary color scheme, which I'm working on right now. I painted using

a hard-edge technique using frisket film, which is basically stenciling each shade

of black and white and filling in each shade and tint separately. This took me

about 2 weeks of long nights to do, but now the hard part is over with 8-)

Thanks to those who provided the source pics, I will credit you accordingly.

Also, there is a whole lot of detail in this that was sort of lost as I resized it

down, forgive me. I'll post part 2 when it's completed :P

Alright, I won't bother posting the 2nd and 3rd phase of this so I'll just put up the final version :)

If you're wondering why she's yellow, that was part of the instructions :) Now that it's finished and graded I might mess around with it and tone down the skin color. Maybe not.

Sorry for the long post. Hope you like :)
