megazord
The tickets are 60 for both days and 35 for one I think.

hayleh
i might go. i don't really want to miss them headline because i know i will regret it. it just sucks that i'd be traveling and paying all that money for them and them only. i hated gian last year. Kalas
Oh i didn't realise it was up :S I really don't like that line-up...like at all Ehhhh, i was so looking forward to it, and i really don't like the idea of Paramore headlining :/ I bet i go anyway though... megazord
I think as a band they're ready for it but alot of people who aren't huge Paramore fans are annoyed that it isn't being headlined by a bigger band. I think its a bit odd too but they deserve it tbh, more than some bigger bands who get to headline tonnes of shit.
blamey
i'd go for Paramore and All Time Low, thats it thou, i wouldnt even bother going for the other day coz 30 seconds to mars suck cock, Angels and Airwaves shud be headling that day, hopefully they might be a special guest!! Jessnesss
I might be going to this on my own but hey al least I get to see some awesome bands, where do you reckon is easier and cheaper to get to from Birmingham and does anyone know if there's any travel lodge's, cheap b&b's near to either of the arena's Hahaha no worries i went to give it a name on my own just to see paramore 2 years ago ;] Birmingham, you just need to get a virgin train to euston, then you can get a tube ticket for zone 1 only. Then from euston you can get the northern line to warren street, then change to victoria south and get off at Victoria station, then change again to get on the circle or district line then get off at earls court and yours right infront of it Thers a Hotel Ibis round the back of Earls court you can get off the tube at West Brompton (its in zone 2 incase you dont know where to walk from earls court station) the hotels are literally a 2 min walk from west brompton station, Theres also The Hotel Lilly which is where i stayed last year, cheap and cheerful. Theres tons of b&bs on the streets surrounding earls court too, but theyre harder to find/get to if you dont know where youre going

megazord
Jess you're so informed when it comes to hotels, you're like expedia in a human
GibbyPhills
I really really dont want to go to this but I can see myself going to the Sunday just to see glassjaw, fred and fys even if they play some headline dates. The rest of the lineup better be decent.
megazord
Notice how on the Sunday there's 3 acts at the top, then it says PLUS SPECIAL GUESTS or whatever, but on the Saturday there's only Paramore at the top, which suggests there are at least 2 other big bands to be announced, one of which might play above Paramore? GibbyPhills
I think it's been announced that they are headlining the first day.
HarlequinGerhl
yeah last year jimmy eat world were said to be headlining, but then afi did.. so maybe the "special guest" will actually headline but idk i think it's great they're headlining little weird though won't be the same as seeing them 2 years ago on the little stage! WayneFarro
disappointing line-up, i only like paramore, billy talent and 30STM. only london and sheffield, also disappointing, they should of come to birmingham nec.
megazord
^^They only really ever do it at 2 UK venues anyway....except last year when they did Glasgow too.
FueledByHoriyo
Whats that £4 for 4 acts about?
megazord
It's a tour before the event which showcases 4 of the newer, less famous bands playing at GIAN. Tickets for shows on this tour are only £4. Paramore featured on this tour 2 years ago
FueledByHoriyo
Wow, thats a pretty big jump for Paramore in just two years. I'll probably get tickets for saturday though; Paramore, All Time Low & Mayday Parade!!! And Very Special guests which I'm assuming will be bigger then sunday's special guests.
megazord
Yes the "Very special guests" will probably be sorta 'co-headliners' as such.
XxSanctuaryxX
is there any seating at all at gian?
megazord
Nope but Earl's Court is a huge venue, the "arena" itself is surrounded by food shops and stuff, as well as merch and signings and stuff. Its not like there aren't places to sit down but there aren't actually assigned seats.
GibbyPhills
Works out over £70 for a weekend ticket after all the booking frees and p+p and £50 for a day. Fuck right off I'm paying that. My weekend ticket for bamboozle is the same price as a gian day. I hate this country.
megazord
Can't believe I've just paid £70.80! I'm sure it'll be a fun weekend though. The price is ridiculous though, it was only a little over that for a 3 day pass last year...booking fees are so bad recently. Aren't they working on a law to get booking fees put down or something?
