iOta
My little brother has diabetes. Me and my twin were at home, he came and he has this empty look on his eyes. We thought he's just tired. I was in the living room when my twin came and said "there's something wrong with Ilari, he just sits there reading Donald duck but he just stares on one page!". I ran downstairs to get his equipment and his bloodsugar was 2.3, dangerously low, I called my dad and then I just tried to open my brother's mouth, it was so stuck! I'd to feed him with my finger (honey, because it has a lot of sugar). I hit him in the face and yet he didn't react. Once I fed him more he started to move more and finally spoke something. I raised his bloodsugar to 3.4 and when dad came home it was 4.3. Guess how scared I was? He's okay now.

steesh
Awww for you. Has he got type one or type 2 diabetes?
iOta
Type one, He has had it about over 8 years. This has happen to him about twice before but I have never been there, dad and mom has. Kinda creepy when both of them aren't home and you just godda do what you godda do. Weird about this day is that early in the morning I applied to a nursing school. I was terrified and i hardly knew the guy ! I'd hate to know what it'd be like if it was my family. iOta
It's scary. I went to apologize my brother that I slapped him in the face, dad laughed because he has taught us that hitting is wrong and this time, I just did the right thing. Jammer
Oh Erica! My brother's diabetic as well, and whenever he has a funny turn it's not very plesant so I can identify with you Erica. The first time he had a hypo, he nearly swallowed his tongue and choked, so my mam had to literally pull it back out.
