Andrew
looks like "super kev" is offski, always a quitter that bloke, what a joke Blame that on Ashley, Wise and the joke of a board. Apparently Kev isn't happy about the summer transfer dealings... don't blame him either. The whole Milner and Owen thing was stupid. They fairly offer Owen less than what he's on now. He was on £103,000 a week which to be honest is a complete rip off. They offered him £85,000 a week instead. And then when Owen wants an increase they just say "yeah have what you want" and give him £120,000 a week instead. But when Milner asks for an increase, someone who's younger than Owen and has played more games than him and contributed more to the team, they say "no bugger off" and sell him. Keegan never wanted to sell Milner. just

Damo
They're signed a couple of new defenders as well, haven't they? From what I heard, the new owner is richer than Roman 'I'll buy your soul' Abramovich...Anyone know if that's true?

Andrew
Keegan staying now? =/ From Sky Sports http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_4087272,00.html Newcastle have announced that they have not sacked Kevin Keegan and they want him to remain as manager. Keegan's future has been the subject of widespread speculation after reports emerged on Tuesday that Keegan had left the club. The rumours about Keegan's future saw fans stage angry protests outside St James' Park with supporters calling for the head of owner Mike Ashley and the club's board. However, the club have now revealed that they have not dispensed with Keegan's services and that the 57-year-old remains part of their plans. It remains to be seen if Keegan will stay on as manager with reports suggesting the former England manager could still resign. The club statement read: "Newcastle United can confirm that meetings between members of the Board and manager Kevin Keegan were held both yesterday and today. "Kevin has raised a number of issues and those have been discussed with him. "The club wants to keep progressing with its long-term strategy and would like to stress that Kevin is extremely important, both now and in the future. "Newcastle United values the effort and commitment shown by Kevin since his return to St. James' Park and wants him to continue to play an instrumental role as manager of the club. "For the avoidance of doubt the club has not sacked Kevin Keegan as manager." So do you think he'll stay or still go? Cause the board are going to be shitting themselves if he does
