  1. sadly, mine is still default. i'm all about keeping things simple. i guess you could say that i'm just lazy, but i like it. i really should switch it up. so when i have time... maybe that will be my next project.
  2. she seems so into it. it's awesome. she's just bopping around perfectly. i wish i had skills like her. but then, it's not hard to be better than i am at dancing. (oh, and i'm watching the video without sound right now so i'm probably missing out on all of what's going on. tomorrow i shall see this in it's entirety... with sound)
  3. every time i hear more about the new album, the more excited i get about it's release. it makes it so much harder to wait!
  4. oh wow. that is awesome. the graphics are amazing and i'm sure a lot of time and effort went into that. anyways, incredible.
  5. yeah, the second i found out about the tour i convinced my friend at school in san diego to go to the show down there with me even though she'd never heard of them before. i really hope twloha goes on tour with paramore sometime, i think that would be awesome. i know that a lot of paramore fans support them whereas when i went to the anberlin show there seemed to be a lot of people who had no idea what twloha was and didn't really pay much attention when jamie came up to speak. plus i didn't really get a chance to talk with the whole twloha group because i was nervous and i feel like i missed out, so if they went on tour with another band i enjoy maybe i could make up for it.
  6. she's influenced me in that by doing what she's doing at such a young age, i'm encouraged that if there is something i truly want to do and love doing i really can do it. i also appreciate that she opens up to her fans and really cares about people. and that she enjoys life... i have a lot of trouble with that but anytime i see pictures of her or listen to her sing or anything she just seems to have an absolute love of life, if any of that makes sense at all.
  7. yeah, lauren actually works full time for twloha. she's pretty much amazing. they're both working on the tour with anberlin as well.
  8. sorry i'm kinda going off topic in a couple of ways here...if corner stone came to california i would be super happy. if i could make it, definitely go. and yay for san diego for warped, i went to school there so it's like my second home... i've never been able to make it to a warped concert before,so i'm just a little scared (that basically means petrified) of what to expect.
  9. their clothes so far seem to fit pretty much to size here, but if you want to check out the american apparel store (where they get the clothing from) they have sizing charts to give you a better idea. i just kinda guessed, but i like my clothes kinda larger so it's not too hard, and i ended up getting shirts that fit me exactly the way i want them to. so go buy things... and expect to be asked about what it means because even my first day wearing one i had a friend question me about what it was all about. it's an amazing movement and the more you know about the story and meaning behind it, the more powerfully it affects others. and i would absolutely love if twloha went on tour with paramore. that would be a dream come true. i love them both, and this time i might get up the courage to not just hide in a corner shaking then run away due to anxiety like i did at the anberlin show :/
  10. just deciding on pomona or san diego as well. hey, maybe i'll just go to both :] well, i wish, but i doubt that will end up happening.
  11. i was getting around to ordering that hoodie when twloha posted her picture in it on their site. it made me even more excited about getting it. now it's just a matter of waiting for it to get here. oh, and as for twloha at the anberlin show i went to it looked like they were just selling some of their t-shirts because i was planning on buying the hoodie there for the same reason.
  12. haha, it's definitely one of my favorite songs... i think that at the moment it's tied only with unwinding cable car. and i just realized that we don't live very far away from eachother; i'm just off ortega highway. so random question, are you planning on going to warped tour this summer and if so which date?
  13. hmm, i'm reading a few books right now... i'm starting Ted Dekker's Showdown, just finished his book Saint and enjoyed it, reading Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen, Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, and now i have to start reading my textbook on psychology instead of all my random reference type books on mental illnesses (yes, i'm odd). I recommend any book by Frank Peretti, especially This Present Darkness, Piercing the Darkness, Prophet... eh, the list goes on. now i'm drawing a blank, there are more books that i like, but mostly i just love to read. sometime in the future i'll probably be going through this thread and picking up a bunch of the books you guys are reading and enjoy. ha.
  14. sounds pretty amazing. i love both bands so much and i think it's always interesting to see how things work out when members of one band work with members from another. usually ends up in some nice stuff.
  15. i agree that it makes my heart flutter is an awesome phrase. and i was just thinking this morning that i wanted to learn how to play unwinding cable car :]
  16. welcome kristen and felice. maybe if my heart stops beating, it wont hurt this much is one of my favorite lyrics as well. and don't worry about being new to paramore, new fans are awesome!
  17. had to post an introduction of myself on a horribly set up online class' bulletin board.
  18. torn jeans, twloha: love is the movement tee, black hoodie, and my ever present watch which i don't know if i could live without.
  19. i think that like most people on this thread seem to have said, her stage make-up can be a little over the top, but i like it. she can pull it off, so why not? in her more 'every day' type pictures she does not seem to be wearing much make-up at all. but being a girl, it's just nice to have a chance to have fun with different eyeshadows, ect. it can even seem to make life more exciting. you just look more confident and fun to be around when you are wearing colorful make-up. and that feeling transfers outward to how you feel about yourself and how others feel around you. but that's just my opinion.
  20. i actually really like the title. it's nice and simple, but it has attitude pouring from it. it's just a lot easier to tell someone about a cd with a shorter title name, not that i don't love other albums with long titles. i think (or at least hope) the music itself will help us understand the meaning behind the title. they don't seem like the type of band to just use a completely random title. plus, riot just sounds fun.
  21. this sounds awesome. thanks for coming up with this idea. a nice send off, letting him know that we appreciate him for who he is what he's done and wishing him good luck in the future. i'll try to come up with something, but it probably wouldn't be that great.
  22. i'd never seen this picture before, but now that i have, definitely one of my favorites. not sure why exactly, it just seems very spur of the moment and like she's having fun with it.
  23. i don't know. i think that hayley is a big part of what makes paramore (well, all the band members are). but she's not just the lead singer, she and josh write the songs so the band just wouldn't be the same. i'd definitely still follow paramore, but a lot would depend on what kind of direction they would take if hayley left.
