I still believe we can do it. We've made it very hard, but at Hampden, we can get a result against anyone, We've beat france, holland and ukraine there recently and got draws with italy and germany. So I am of full faith we can somehow, miraculously, get a win over italy. Just so gutted about last night, It was like being back to Berti Vogts days all over again. Georgia fully deserved their win as we were ridiculously awful.

Hello! I joined yesterday but i love this board. Its alot of fun

The postal workers are starting to annoy me. Im really glad that my scotland ticket came in before they started striking or i woulda been really angry. They seem to think that they are on par with the police or fireman. They are no different to me, a baker, or a joiner or an electrician. Its just a different job so i dont see why they should get more money.

So it is! I donno why i said the World Cup. Yeah the media hype up the team so much and seem to believe that England will win the tournament every time they go into it, which just adds pressure to the players and puts expectations on such a high, which is unfair.

I saw Madina Lake in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago. They were really awesome although the gig got paused for a good 15-20 minutes as some dude fell in the moshpit and hurt his back so badly that he couldnt get back up! My favourite part of the night is when the lead singer said "Our Tour started two and a half weeks ago in Paris, and on that same night, Scotland kicked the shit out of France!"

Yeah that'll be the goal in the Cup Semi-final you'll be talking about. I'll never forget that goal. Was cracking. Its not the english team, or the people i have a dislike for. Its just the media. Its them that annoy me more than anything. I reckon it would be good to have Scotland and England both at the world cup. Keeps interests high in Britain, and a bit of bragging rights to see who gets the furthest! However, i would just be happy for us to reach the 2nd Round if we get there. But now im just getting ideas above my station!

Aww James McFadden. He's my hero. It made me so proud seeing him score in France just because it felt like, it was your best mate or somethin. Just cause he was this young lad at motherwell that ive watched get better and progress. He seems to have done well for Everton recently too. Do you reckon this will finally be his season with Everton? As he's been kinda in and out the team, yet has still managed goals over man united and chelsea, while scoring belters against charlton and middlesborough! I can see England getting a result but i reckon its the away mach coming up that you've gotta watch out for but i dont see why you cant qualify. I'm not jumping on the "We're going to Austria/Switzerland" bandwagon yet like other Scotland fans cause it really could fall flat on our faces. So i'll wait till we get the results we need first. I still reckon we'll get a 2-0 victory tomorrow right enough.
