kwik-silva Posted January 1, 2010 Report Share Posted January 1, 2010 Best: -Spending some great time with my girlfriend, she's the best -Getting to see Biffy for the first (and second) time! -Going up to London with a mate to see lots of gigs She's awesome too, plus it's the only time I ever really talk to her -Joining here, met some awesome people (in particular Louise/Kayla love you two ) -Seeing Paramore and finally deciding that I will be a musician when I'm older Bad: -Couple of months were I just didn't know what I was doing, with life and relationship wise. -Getting stressed about colleges (and not getting into my first choice) -Falling behind at work 2010: -Hoping to travel round England a bit to see some people and go on holidays with others. -Looking forward to finally getting that bit more freedom from just being a mindless zombie at school. -Biffy again! -Hoping that I run into Kim when she comes down for the Brand New gig too... I have talked to some of the coolest people from all around the world. Sometimes I like them more than I like my friends here. I would love to meet some of the people here. -Going to New York City for the first time in my life. -Learning some life-lessons. -Discovering how much I love singing. -Finding two people that really care about me. Bad -Breaking up with Kyle. -Getting hit by a car in January. -My grandmother getting pneumonia. -The countless deaths of young celebrities and artists. -Finding out the hard way that my dad is a violent drunk. There have been a few good things that I wouldn't have wanted any other way, like joining here and the subsequent stuff that we all know would happen, but it's all overshadowed by the few darker moments that I don't want to reminisce any more than I do involuntarily. x-Decoy Posted January 4, 2010 Report Share Posted January 4, 2010 Best - meeting & falling in love with Ross, and every moment we've spent together for the last few months - meeting who are now my best friends - meeting and seeing pcd in January, and going to a few places in England with my friends to see them again a few times in July - seeing paramore twice, fiinally getting to see them live! :] - the amazing people ive met through this forum - getting somewhere with work. I had four jobs last year, I've finally got a permanent one now, so hopefully no more work stress! Worst - I had meningitis/hypothermia at the start of the year and I was really ill for about a month, and I missed 2 gigs I reallly wanted to go to cause of it, so that was a bad start to the year, haha - My relationship with my parents, most of the time. - I kinda lost my way for the first few months of the year, I couldn't cope with anything and I was on medication til a few months ago - Being paid off 2 jobs and quitting one when I was working too much. Mother quit drinking... Happinesses were realized Started smoking. Got to meet my real family and got to see their home. Worst: Mom and Dad are definitely at the point where they have paths changed I smoked waaaay too much weed and drank waaay too much. Brother died. That year definitely was a shuffle.
