RIOT! Sales Projections

Recommended Posts

Based on album sales from yesterday, it looks like RIOT! will sell 35,000-40,000 copies in its first week!

It's a prediction though, so we definitely have to keep buying the album to make it happen!

Those are simply amazing numbers. Congratulations to the band and wow...that should put them very close to the Top 20 on the Billboard charts, I think. So, keep buying the album - let's see if we can get them in the Top 10 :)

Thanks to absolutepunk.net for posting this info!

At this rate they'll surpass AWKIF sales in 2 or 3 weeks.

I wouldn't say that. Album sales usually drop significantly after their first week, it's just how the music industry is :(

But "RIOT!" definitely has a good chance at passing the sales of "AWKIF" this summer.

That is amazing though. Very impressive, especially considering the status of the music industry today. Congrats to the band, they deserve it.

That's true...although in the case of a band like Paramore, who are still building a fanbase, you could potentially see sales stay very steady or even grow throughout the summer...

It's a snowball effect...a great first week gets them more press, more radio airplay, more attention...and more people find out about them...and buy the record...

That's very true. If they get more exposure, the sales could keep growing.

Ah this is so exciting to see.

Compared to last weeks chart, the number 20 album sold 34,766 copies. So this should for sure put them in the top 20. That's amazing.
