Itsgettingcloser Posted February 5, 2008 Report Share Posted February 5, 2008 Some things I have seen bands do before is they start out on an indie label, switch to a major label "sell out" in a way to make a very large amount of money, then switch back to a smaller indie label so that they can do whatever they want...case and point, the band Thrice. They switched to a major label released a couple cds that were very mainstream sounding then switched back to a small label and are producing and recording everything themselves and doing whatever they want without labels pushing them around.
