oneheartbeat Posted September 4, 2006 Report Share Posted September 4, 2006 i was at the show!! man... that was the sweatiest show i have ever been to! i couldnt believe they put a baracade... i like it better when it is not there! i was in the second/third row on the left side (josh's side) and it was soo hard for me to see at first, esp. for TP and HTL, but i am really short and a tall guy had to be right in front of me. grr... so while we were waiting in line, my friend and i say hi to hayley and tell her how cute her boots were... then she waves back at us. then i told my friend there's josh! then the security guard from slims was like, "go and say hi to him" and i was like... "um.. later. he looks busy." but yeah... THIS PROVIDENCE was amazing, as usual! i wish their set was longer!! i love those guys to death! so happy thay sang "my beautiful rescue." i also didnt enjoy HTL. this is when the crowd started to go crazy! and some guy hella hit me on the head... it hurt! from all that pushing... the good thing about it was that we got closer to the baracade, right in front of where josh plays! so for ciwwaf my friends were right in the front and i was right behind them holding on to my dear life. they sang the songs i like, so that was awesome! PARAMORE. they were, of course, amazing! i think lane got it all covered! i wished they played "brighter" or "hallelujah", but it's all good. i am just soooo happy i got to hear my fave song, "never let this go" i got the chills when i heard it! oh yeah... and josh was sooo funny! he kept giving kisses to the crowd and shaking his cute little ass. at one point, he was staring right at me and he flew me a kiss... that made my heart melt! hehe. also, hayley pointed the mic right in front of me... i think it was during "whoa" the ending with "my heart" was indeed amazing! also, before this show... i saw NEW FOUND GLORY!! 9.2.06 was the best day ever!! Also Hit the Lights was/IS awesome...they sound exactly like their cd and have so much energy...just cuz you guys cant handle the crowd at a POP PUNK show doesnt mean they arent good. and yes I realize that everyone has their own taste, but HTL is light years better than CIWWAF ..end of story Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Personally, I agree with you that Cute needs some improvement onstage, but I don't want the tone of this discussion to get out of hand...I don't think we're there at this point, but I want to be careful that we're all respectful of each other's opinions... Lanizzle Posted September 6, 2006 Author Report Share Posted September 6, 2006 Hit The Lights wasn't BAD, they sounded good, they just weren't what I was expecting. All the bands that played were really talented. I guess it's just different opinions. The pushing was really bad when they came on, I could barely feel my legs from this person behind me practically attaching and pushing themselves against my back. I'm a tall guy, and I think people think that if they push me harder, I'll get shorter?..hahaha. My best friend couldn't handle it, and had to get out. But there was NO way I was getting out. Anyway, here's a few teaser pictures. I have about 185, but I'll be uploading those within the next couple weeks. I have dial-up so it takes FOREVER, plus I'm busy with school.
