iOta Posted June 26, 2008 Report Share Posted June 26, 2008 To all of our friends and fans, If you have not received the news, Waltz Reprise will be breaking up following our last show on Friday, June 27 at Rock City in Camarillo. After nearly two years of being together, we have decided that it is time to go on with all of our musical careers separately. It has been a long road, and we cannot thank you all enough for sticking by us. It is your support, kind words, ears, hearts, and minds that have gotten us to where we are. Although this is a bittersweet ending for us, it won't be the last you hear of Juan Uribe, Travis Meador, Josh Jeffers, Jenna Maranga, and Ray Libby. Many of you may wonder why we are parting... Well, in the last few months it has become evident that our hearts were no longer in our own music. We were having trouble writing new material that was equally as, if not more meaningful than the last. As a family, it was tough for us to actually confront this issue. But the end was seeming inevitable for us. Individually, we all are beginning to seek new endeavors, both musically and otherwise. The break up is in no way interfering with the strong relationships we all have with each other. And we are leaving this band with a ton of memories, a few tears, and no hard feelings. I know this all may come as a shock to those who don't know us personally (and perhaps even to those who do), but I hope you will continue to support our decision and remain with us in our new adventures. It gives me the chills. She hits this one note and its just, ahhh.
