Starlight
So, Cristiano Ronaldo won Ballon d'Or 2008. I think no one can argue with it, he totally deserved it.

Damo
I think Ronaldo should have won the Ballon d'Or just for the sheer comedy of his handball against Man City On that note, was anybody else dissapointed with the quality of the Manchester derby? I was expecting a bit more if I'm honest.
JJ Riot
nah for me derby matches have lost there appeal at top level from a players point of view, so i wasnt surprised by it
Andrew
Oh, I've not posted here since out epic 2-2 draw with the scum (apologies if there are any Swansea fans on the site! ) So, Cristiano Ronaldo won Ballon d'Or 2008. I think no one can argue with it, he totally deserved it.

Andrew
:hyper: Haha sorry bud! To be fair though, I'd be offended if you didn't think the same of us.. Hmm... no comment I thought a draw was a fair result, and it was a bit disappointing that the Swansea fans caused trouble after the game. I mean out of the 18,000 people at the game only 1,600 were Cardiff fans. Like why bother trying to start trouble?

There's always a few idiots who think it's a good idea, every club has them unfortunately. A draw was certainly fair, and it was a brilliant match, but had McPhail(ure) not acted like a prat then I feel we may have snuck the 3 points. Ah well, I would have settled for 1 before the game. EDIT: Oh, and did you see Histon's reaction when they drew you in the FA cup? lol

RenegadeRoss
Well done yet again to burnley and Owen Coyle i always look out or their results, he was a brilliant player for us about 10 years ago, i seen it was Kevin Mcdonald that scord both goals, god i remember him playing for Dundee! RenegadeRoss
Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has rejected a move to Manchester City. The Premier League big spenders tabled a world record £129m bid. (Private Spanish radio station Cadena Ser) Manchester City are determined to spend £70m to sign a "world superstar" in the January transfer window with Kaka, Lionel Messi, Fernando Torres, Carlos Tevez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Samuel Eto'o all in the frame. (Independent) £129 million? that is absolutely ridiculous!
JJ Riot
^ that is stupid, what a waste of money plus they have a talented keeper in Joe Hart at the club, whats the need in bringing in forgieners and pushing out english talent its annoys me
RenegadeRoss
This weekend will be the first big test for our pitch i reckon, and others in the SPL. Last season, 9 games at our ground were postponed due to pitch problems, and if this weather keeps up, i cant see the game going ahead on saturday
Andrew
EDIT: Oh, and did you see Histon's reaction when they drew you in the FA cup? lol Nope. Not looking forward to it though after how bad we were last year against unknown/non-league teams. £129 million? that is absolutely ridiculous! Even more ridiculous because: A) Casillas is a goalkeeper and he's not been in good form recently.
RenegadeRoss
We've got a non-league team in the scottish cup.. i actually worry about games like that to be honest!

WayneFarro
I see your apparently after David Nugent to replace Yakubu NOOOOOO!! hope that's not true. Nugent's been crap since he moved to Pompey. i hope we get Larsson on loan.
Damo
I've gotta question Moyes' judgement if he really is after Nugent. He's proven he's great at championship level, but very average at prem level.
