Move to Cali [or where ever it was that Ellen & Portia got married lol] then it'd be legal ;-)

Didn't u hear??? :o

PROPOSITION 8!!

It was introduced in Cali, and not only is it

now illegal to get married, but any gay

marriage that took place before it is now no

longer a marriage, and has been canceled!

(including the ledgend ellen and her now "EX-wife" portia!)

In some places gay ""civil partnerships" not

marriages are legal, but they don't have any of the same rights as a married couple (wills, adopting kids, and tonnes of legal stuff)

It's actualy terrible!

But tht

yep. totally sucked ass.

and i hate the fact that every time i asked why someone was for prop 8, they'd be like

"because gay marriage will ruin the sanctity of marriage." well, doesnt divorce do that? yet our society allows it.

i totally agree with that. divorce isnt a big deal, yet gay marriage is. wtf?

seriously. i mean just look at all the celebs who marry/divorce

like it's some kind of trend or whatever.

personally, i do believe that gay marriage will be legal one day.

20, 30, 40 years from now, people will look back and think, "wtf were we thinking

not legalizing gay marriage?!" lol.

i mean in the 60's, it was illegal to marry someone out of your race....and now we look back and know just how stupid that law was. and i believe we'll do the same with gay marriage.

yurp!!,

That's not even half of it!

Just for being gay employers have the right not to hire you, schools have the right to turn you away, and to throw you out if they find out, there's nothing to stop banks refusing gay people mortages... the list goes on!
