Sanguis Dominus
They're pretty crap. I'm not entirely sure why I like 'em, but I do.

He's suuper suuper sweet. He's kind of an ass sometimes but it's obviously for a show. But yeah he's reall really really nice <
the1
I hear that he's a dick from some people and just a wierdo from others. But yeah, their s/t and In Love And Death are pretty much amazing. Poetic Tragedy, Blue and Yellow, Lunacy Fringe and Listening are the favs for moi. Aint got the newere release (the acoustic one?), but Lies for the Liars was very average. They tried to do something different but only pulled it off on a few songs. With Me Tonight, The Ripper and Pretty Handsome Awkward are awesome though

EasyTarget
Whoa. Why haven't I been here yet? This band is a massive part of who I am, I really adore them as people and musicians. The likes of Blue and Yellow, Maybe Memories, Choke Me and Buried Myself Alive are songs I'll always love and that's just the first album. I'm A Fake is phenonemal, I need that t-shirt! I love Lies For The Liars too, Wake The Dead and Hospital are amazing. As for b-sides and junk, still fantastic, c'mon, Slit Your Own Throat is amazing. I only have good things to say about this band. I adore Quinn, Bert, Jeph, Dan and Branden. I'd kill to meet them. Okay, speech over. the1
Sine of the newer lyrics are cringe worthy though. e.g. the chorus in Liar Liar *shakes head*
EasyTarget
Lmfao yeah, but that's a well-known rhyme, Bert probably put it in jokingly or something.
the1
I know that, but it still sounds shocking. As does Smother Me
EasyTarget
I love that song. Lols. But yeah, not all their stuff is gonna be loved by all their fans, I personally prefer the heavy stuff. Sound Effects and Over Dramatics!

the1
pffft. I'd hardly call them emo. Rock.
BABsxo.
i didnt say they were emo, i said i was lol. what i mean is that ive written off bands i listened to back then, regardless of what genre said music fell into.
the1
Well they are more creative than Pmore so you should give them another chance lol
EasyTarget
Yeah, I think Paramore are more emo style wise than The Used anyway. Emo pisses me off, it's meant to mean emotion, surely all music has emotion in it?
Ross
Actually, emo meaning 'emotional' is a common misconception. As far as the genre is concerned, emo is short for "emotional hardcore". It originated from the hardcore punk genre of the mid 80's and was used to tag bands who wanted to escape the traditional standard of hardcore and the violent scene at the time.
