I feel like her other videos have something that Alejandro was missing. That being said, Alejandro is one of my favorite songs on the record. I think that her being "different" (machine gun bra and that stuff) is just a attention whore act nowadays. It doesn't really seem like SHE really feels like that's attractive or anything.
