Harry Posted August 13, 2009 Report Share Posted August 13, 2009 I posted my clips on the Andy Sneap forum, where a bunch of audio engineers/audio engineers-in-the-making-nutcases gather and what I found amusing and I guess cool too, was that one guy much more experienced than me like the sound of my snare (except for some of the bottom end frequencies, he said it was otherwise quite good). The honest truth about the snare is that it's a sample I used randomly in my DAW Software, not knowing what were good snares or not, and just stuck with it and started EQ and compressing it in the hope it sounded okay.
