The proper syntax should have been: "This band should be called All Time Fail" The only other real suitable alternative would have been a hyphen. but even then, that's pushing it. It's really not worth continuing this trivial matter cause lets face it, you don't give a shit. For those who do. A comma is not used for emphasis of a pause. The comma is used for emphasis (not of a break in speech) or for clarity. For example: -The teacher beat the scholar with a whip. A simple description. -The teacher beat the scholar, with a whip.
