Have u seen the movie When Trumpets fade? hehe outta of all the war films i've seen its probably one of the best.. does good in portraying what war is really like. glorya
is anyone going to see the da vinvi code? even though it received horrible reviews? i'm going friday =) the book was really well written...although it had a whack ending
I Run With Scissors
I'm not expecting much of the film to be honest, and I'm not a huge fan of Ron Howard or Tom Hanks. But I reckon Jean Reno is just too damn cool and Audrey Tatou is one of my favourite actresses so I might catch it for them, and out of curiousity from the book. I Run With Scissors
Just got back from watching The Da Vinci Code, if you read the book it really offers you nothing new as all the plot twists and puzzles etc. are already known. Tom Hanks was acting in "cruise control" and Jean Reno was disappointing. Paul Bettany as Silas was cool though and Ian Mckellan as always gives a good performance. Although her acting was rather ordinary in this film, I still find Audrey Tatou to be one of the most charming actresses in the world today. I'm not going to say "don't see it" but the story just drags on in my opinion.

I Run With Scissors
Regarding the Da Vinci Code hype, when a book sells around 60 million copies worldwide and a movie is made based on it... it's bound to garner a little bit of publicity. As for Mean Girls... good film actually, I enjoyed that despite my hatred for all flicks that are chick

I Run With Scissors
Just saw the film "Brick" last night; It stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt from third rock from the sun and Emilie De Ravin from Lost has a part in the movie. The movie is basically a simple detective story where Levitt's character investigates the death of his ex girlfriend and is told in a film noir style, but set in high school as opposed to the usual urban city setting. Done on a small budget but it still oozes with more style than some of the offerings that big budget Hollywood released recently. Anyone else seen this film?
