Ross
Faith putting my eloquent picture into words. Going to listen to it tomorrow. Was told it's less poppy, they don't borrow lyrics as much/at all and sounds like a male Paramore.
hubabalou
Lol. I'm listening to it right now. Your assessment is pretty adequate.
Ross
It's Lee's assessment. Says he likes it more than BNE haha

hubabalou
I'm actually quite fond of the whole album. Fireworks is my favorite.
Paramaniac
If anyone's interested they're going to be on Channel 4 Saturday. The programme starts at 10:05am and they'll be performing live and are having a quick interview at about 10:30 so I'd tune in a few minutes before just incase
Diana
I've just finished listening to the new songs. Uhm... "Playing the blame game"/"Trophy eyes" and "Fireworks" are my favourite songs. I don't know. It's not a bad album, but it's not amazing either. It's an improvement lyrically, though. And Josh's voice sounds really weird on "There's no such thing as accidental infidelity". Or is it just me? This is my first impression, anyway. Maybe the album will grow on me. Maybe not. But oh well.

Agree With Everything You Said, It Probably Sounds Weird Cause Aled From Kids In Glass Houses Is On It Aswell, Especially Near The End. I Love The Beginning Of Playing The Blame Game. The Album Isn't As Catchy As The First, Fireworks Is Such A Good/Depressing Song:(
Ross
First five tracks are dull as fuck. Track six is looking (well, sounding) promising.
Ross
Overall; dull, bland and uninspired. Will it grow on me? Maybe.

x-Decoy
I listened to it, I like stay with me and safer to hate her, some of the others are okay, and some I don't like at all. Fireworks is probably my least favourite.
Andrew
About to download their new album now, although I thought their first one was crap. People on it-leaked seem to be saying it's over-hyped though. Will listen now
Andrew
Thats because its Aled Phillips from Kids in Glass Houses doing guest vocals. Guest vocals from 2:45 onwards. Ironic really that YMAS were compared to KIGH and then they get Aled in to do guest vocals and imo it's the best bit on the album. Generally, the album does nothing for me, I'd describe it as boring. It sounds like a cross between Paramore and Fightstar. Some parts of songs are catchy but not catchy enough for me to think "I've gotta listen to that You Me At Six song" "Kiss and Tell" still their best song imo. travel_hymn
.... Okay then, looks like that this is what I'll do. When it comes out here, I'll buy the CD and buy TOYC as well since I still don't 'own' it. Yes, I'm planning to wait. XD I'll probably have a similar opinion to Faith's though, seeing as I really like YMAS. idk.
BABsxo.
i really wasnt thrilled by this album last night, but today its growing. the second half pisses all over the first. as i said to ross last night, like most second albums from a pop/rock band, its a bit of an overshot. plus, anyone else think playing the blame game sounds like fences? just sayin'. basically, its good and is promising for the future, but by no stretch of the imagination is it epic. take off your colours > hold me down. hubabalou
^ Yeah, Playing the Blame Game sound a lot like Fences at the beginning. I giggled.
