I know I'm like banned from this thread, but why are they releasing a single a month after the album release? :???:

 

They obviously feel they can garner enough publicity through the Paramore tour/their own means so that the use of a single for promotion is redundant. I wouldn't be surprised if the single's video was on Kerrang etc. by the album launch though.

Its probably going to be quite similar to their AP Tour set list... with a few more songs.

They threw in their Poker Face cover on AP tour, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did that on the BNE tour.

 

i originally thought they'd be done with poker face for this tour, but i dunno now. im pretty sure their next cover for their own tour in the spring here will be something from BNE, but doing that on this tour would just look like a desperate plea from josh.

 

(and if people dont know what that 'plea' is, do yer research)

You Me Six will offer the opening track from their forthcoming new album 'Hold Me Down' through their website on Wednesday November 25th. The track is called 'The Consequence' and features guest vocals from Sean Smith of The Blackout.

 

The first single from the album will be called 'Underdog' and will be released on February 7th.

 

Album track 'Trophy Eyes' will feature guest vocals Aled Phillips (Kids In Glass Houss).

 

'Hold Me Down' is released on January 11th on Virgin Records and was produced by John Mitchell (Funeral For A Friend, Enter Shikari, Architects) and Matt O'Grady (The Blackout, Hexes), and mastered by Bob Ludwig (Radiohead, Coldplay, Pearl Jam).
