Kevin Posted November 21, 2010 Report Share Posted November 21, 2010 This is the only thread I found, to post this. This moment I'm not sad anymore, but I was a few months back. In March (the end) this year we heard that my father had esophageal cancer, that was the result of the CT scan. Not the news you want to hear, we were all shocked .. of couse. Fortunately there were no metastases. In May he received five cycles of chemotherapy and 25 radiation treatments. Fortunately he was not too sick from the treatments. He had surgery on June 22, everything went well. Now it's November, and he is doing fine. A few weeks back he got the first CT scan after surgery, I'm glad it was good and also his blood results ! This was the reason I wasn't online for a while. It was really a difficult time. Now I will try to be positive. I really hope that 2011 will be a better year.
